Midjourney was born on Discord, a platform that fuelled its early growth and helped it scale to millions of users. But as the community expanded, so did the need for a more stable platform and seamless way to collaborate beyond its original foundation. We partnered with their team to design Rooms (now part of Chat) a multiplayer creative space built for how their community actually works.

We rewrote the flows the team uses every day and moved them onto a single foundation: the same data, the same rules, one place to act when something changes.
